It&#8217;s a well-chosen set of seven short, offbeat podcasts that cover design, history, art, and other topics in widely\u00a0divergent formats. My entry point was <a title=\"99% Invisible\" href=\"http:\/\/99percentinvisible.org\/\">99% Invisible<\/a>, which I feel I must have written about before; it&#8217;s a terrific collection of stories about design in places or circumstances we don&#8217;t usually think have much relationship to design. You&#8217;ve likely heard of it\u00a0already (if you haven;t you must check it out immediately), and the other Radiotopia podcasts I&#8217;ve listened to match it in quality.<\/p>\n<p>I think <a href=\"http:\/\/toe.prx.org\/\">Theory of Everything<\/a> is probably my favorite of the bunch, combining legit interviews with\u00a0fringe thinkers\u00a0and\u00a0odd, somewhat unsettling fake interviews to create a strong sense of not-quite-right-ness that takes me back to &#8217;90s zine culture. <a title=\"Fugitive Waves\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kitchensisters.org\/\">Fugitive Waves<\/a>\u00a0is also a keeper, featuring hidden\u00a0histories and untold stories.<\/p>\n<p>What do you listen to these days?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I listen to a lot of podcasts&#8211;some political, some nerdy, some covering science news.\u00a0Radiotopia\u00a0fills in the gaps and keeps me wondering.
